Creative Encounters with Science is a non-profit organization that promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) amongst youth in Guelph and surrounding communities. For over 20 years our organization has delivered award winning STEM content, reaching over 3200 youth last year alone.
From May to the end of August, C.E.S. runs in-school workshops, outreach programs, and summer day camps, while offering club sessions from September to June. In addition, C.E.S. focuses on various initiatives such as Aboriginal Outreach, at-risk youth, and P.A.G.E.S. all girls programming.
Our aspiration is to promote dynamic and hands-on learning experiences in STEM through the leadership of our instructors and mentors. Our mission is to inspire, support and spark curiosity through the minds of youth, encouraging them to become innovative, problem solving students of today and knowledgeable, visionary individuals of tomorrow.
